Needy Streamer Overload is a suckerpunch of a game ngl

I'd been seeing Needy Stremer Overload/Needy Girl Overdose on youtube shorts and I think a couple of songs ended up on my Spotify so I got it on a whim today after seeing it on sale, and I had time today so I got to complete a couple endings.
It's honestly pretty interesting! It certainly requires a certain terminally online personality to appreciate it and at least some knowledge of stremer culture as well. There's a pinch of Doki Doki Literature Club to it and I feel there's a certain ShindoL Metamorphosis tragedy to the writing. I think that's good! I'm just no college student anymore so I had to spoil myself to some endings (THERE'S 27?!) - there's a true ending you only get after unlocking the others and I kinda wanna get it but at the same time... oof there's only so much time for videogames... I say as a Final Fantasy XIV player...
Man, one thing I wanna note is that one of the shorts I landed on pointed out the *** action as "sus" and it's just... Oh the goldmine of metacommentary that's in a youtuber being immature about sex for clicks about this game in particular...

Blogging as a way to find the people who care

This blog entry is - as probably many others in the future will be - an expansion upon a few posts I made on Blorbo a couple days ago.
A few days ago I got an email from Livejournal saying it was the 16th anniversary of my first LJ account- Which surprised me because I'd genuinely forgotten I'd switched LJ accounts after a point. The change was done entirely because of my username back then: I no longer liked my handle but account rename tokens cost money and I was thereabouts of 14 at the time, so what I did was painstakingly copy/paste my entries to the account I used until around 2012 and then imported to Dreamwidth.
I shoot a quick post (that evolves into that small thread on blorbo and now into this post) about that on my private twitter as I have Dreamwidth import the entries. I hadn't read the entry where I said I'd already copied the entries over when I moved accounts before I hit 'start import' but just shrugged since one can never have too many backups, just to make sure I kept everything captured, ready in case one day I needed to go down memory lane.
Which uh. I don't actually do that often? 😅

Tags and userpics get!

Every day I put (or plan to put) new things on the site. 😅
So the new things today are: Adding Ojou's guestbook entry, which made me redesign the guestbook page slightly, and I added userpics to my blog entries! Like we're on LJ or DW! And both frankly taught me A LOT about how Astro collections work, specially since they also kinda changed up a little with Astro 2.5.
And now I also have tags on my blog entries! As it stands I don't really have any entries tagged with anything other than site updates lol. I do swear I want to use this site for proper blogging, but it's literally half one at this point after what I thought would be a short push to get everything finalized earlier this evening (and a month and a half after I first started building the tagging system) 🥱 The actual blogging ends up suffering a little over me building the bridge as I cross it! 😂😂😂
