Some fixes...

Well I think that's me falling into a proper groove with this site: Fixed how The Height of Narcissism was still displaying an older version, added my Chrom/Frederick S-Support since I got nostalgic it recently, tightened up the look of the layout to hopefully make reading fanfic and long posts through the site a more enjoyable experience AND added a bunch of new links to my link page!
(About the links, none of them is displayed in any particular order, and I basically just link to all sorts of sites I find cool, not to mention how I'm still missing a bunch of sites I forgor... Genuinely do not be shy about messaging me to add your site! I'm a forgetful person and trying to rush this so I can sleep long enough to face this monday hahaaaaa....)

Happy first update of 2024! 😅

Alright! This took me absolutely too long, the first git commit for this change dates from December of last year apparently. Phew...
You may have noticed that the disclaimer page is a little longer, the sidebar reflects how I'm no longer in my 20s, the font is different now (it should display as Atkinson Hyperlegible and I do find it a lot easier in the eyes than old Nunito Sans) and the the color scheme when viewing the website in dark mode should match the light mode a bit more. I've also shifted things around so that the homepage isn't my blog entry listing, which should allow me to do some fun web 1.0-ish sparkly gif links or whatever in the future - essentially just trying to compensate for how I don't actually update the blog all that often.
I've also made a change to the sidebar so that the image shown is one of the different userpics at random, and you'll find there are actually a lot! And the userpics themselves are also slightly bigger than LJ's typical 100 x 100 px. I've had to upscale the userpics so they'd display correctly on the sidebar so I might as well make them a bit more noticeable.

Let there be Pagination! Also fic updates!

It really took me a while but I finally managed to get pagination to work on this web site! Now we only see two entries per page and I no longer live in fear of having to pay for someone's hospital bill for making them scroll too much and breaking their thumb!
Speaking of breaking your thumb with long pages, I made some edits to On Missing Heaven! It is indeed a little longer than it used to be, and it was a fun exercise in grabbing 2021 me's shoulders and going "No sweetie, you don't get away with not saying the word sex in this sentence or avoid mentioning his boner."
This is in the service of making Helltaker actually sound like a dude who went to hell to smash mad quantities of demon puss instead of a pussy author from a culturally catholic country. I don't think I have the same hold up about writing the Slot A into Tab B as I had back then, which is a good sign because I think the fic I'm working on now can only actually work if I have them in.
